- 1 kg strawberries (stems removed), cut into quarters
- 1 l milk
- 200 g sugar
- Put the strawberries in a large bowl. Sprinkle the sugar. Pour over the milk. Stir gently to dissolve the sugar.
- Cover with cling film and keep in the fridge. Stir occasionally.
- Let macerate for at least 2 hours, before serving.
