- 4 slices of bread (½ -inch thick), toasted
- 1 clove of garlic, peeled
- 4 ripe tomatoes, halved
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- Rub the top of each toast with the garlic. Rub the toast with a half of tomato (cut side down) to moisten and give a red color.
- Drizzle the toast with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
- You can serve it with anchovies and cured meats and sausages.
