White Asparagus and Ham Gratin

  • 1 lb asparagus, drained
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 250 g cream cheese
  • 150 g ham sliced
  • 1 tablespoon oregano (optional)
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. In a bowl mix the mayonnaise and the cheese, and the oregano (if used). Set aside
  2. Lay the asparagus on a baking dish and the slices of ham over them, ends tucked.
  3. Spread the cheese mixture over each ham slice. Cook under a broiler until the cheese mixture slightly brown.
