Camp Fire Baked Potatoes

  • 800 gr potatoes, scrub cleaned and patted dry
  • salt to taste


  1. Wrap each potato in a double layer of foil.
  2. As soon as the camp fire coals are glowing red bury the potatoes directly in them.
  3. Cook for 15 mins; turn with tongs and cook for 15 minutes more.
  4. Remove one and check if cooed through; unfold the foil with tongs.
  5. When cooked, unwrap and peel the potatoes. Split and season with salt.
